We need your help to fight back NOW against the opposition being mounted publicly to derail the forward movement of the CASE Act through Congress.  Today, groups who don’t believe in copyright and the right of creators to profit fairly from their work have raised the same tired arguments about how the CASE Act will somehow stifle innovation and prevent free expression on the Internet if enacted into law.

These groups are aware that the U.S. Senate Judiciary Committee will be holding a markup hearing on the bill next Thursday, July 18, and they want to do everything they can to enlist the aid of some Senators to block the bill’s forward movement. We need to make our voices heard with members of the Senate Judiciary Committee by Monday, July 15.

These same groups hate the idea of copyright and intellectual property protection, in part because it might mean that creators finally have a remedy to go with the right to intellectual property protection enshrined in the U.S. Constitution.
