Before living in New York City, I often had the pleasure of staying at The Standard Hotel in the Meatpacking District. This is precisely what you expect from one of the edgiest hotel chains, run by Andre Balasz, and precisely what you want your NY hotel experience to be.
Secret Tip:
While visiting the Top of the Standard, a visit to the restroom is OBLIGATORY. The floor-to-ceiling windows afford you the most spectacular views of the Meatpacking District. You could use the modesty curtains, but you’d lose the view!
